Sajjad Moazeni is a postdoctoral research scientist collaborating with Dr. Shepard at Columbia University. His research interests lies in the intersection of integrated system design and optoelectronics with applications in neuroscience and cell biology. Dr. Moazeni received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley in 2018 focusing on large-scale and energy-efficient electronic-photonic integration. He also received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013. He was the recipient of UC Berkeley Graduate Division Fellowship in 2014.
