Alexander Vaughan

Alexander Vaughan, PhD (Stanford University), is currently Scientific Program Manager for the IARPA MICrONS program with Anthony Zador at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a multi-site project to map local and long-range projections in the mouse using MAPseq technologies. In previous work, Dr. Vaughan studied the auditory pathway of Drosophila melanogaster (with Bruce Baker, JRC HHMI), and decision-making in mouse and rat (with Adam Kepecs, CSHL). He is also the founder of MapNeuro Inc., a company focused on using high-throughput connectomics to accelerate drug development.
